Morocco Travels

In April 2014 I was lucky enough to celebrate by 32nd birthday in Morocco. Our first trip into Africa. We explored Marrakesh, Ouirgane (near High Atlas Mountains), Taroudant and Essaouira. What an amazing inspiring place, the colours you see all around you are so vibrant and inspiring. I must admit its hard to resist the shopping, I went well over my budget but picked up some amazing things for the house.

Recent travels 2014

Since its been a while since I've updated, here is a bit of a recap on 2014 travels. We started off 2014 with a trip home to spend Christmas and New Years with my family. It was the first Kiwi Christmas since 2008 so it felt extra special. It's wonderful to get away during the dark and dreary UK winter but due to flight costs we usually go in January. I'm glad we splashed out, it was an amazing start to 2014. Some iconic kiwi images below. Nothing bets a NZ xmas!

Second to last photo is of our bushwalk in the Karangahake Gorge, it was beautiful and amazing, note the wet hair, it did rain! If you are in Coromandel in the summer it is worth the visit.

Pineapple

Apparently at the moment it is all about pineapples, so I have on today my pineapple print t-shirt with a full cut work lace skirt. I have as well a vintage pineapple ice bucket - amazing! Will load a photo of this also. A bit of fun for a Friday outfit! x Anna.

Recent travels

 My husbands family has a great tradition of a yearly family reunion. It was originally started by his great grandfather who put money aside in a trust with the intention of gathering the family together every year. What a great idea, he was somewhat of a visionary! So this is my first family reunion which was in La Clusaz, France. We also stopped by Annecy on the way which is very beautiful as well with a very picturesque lake.

What I wore

I've been on the hunt for new floral summer dresses and this is one of my latest purchases, loving the blue pansies.

Homesick

Recently I've been feeling more than a little homesick, usually I enjoy spring in England, but as the weather is unusally bad we've been stuck indoors for most part of the year. I mean to make the most of spring as soon as I gets just a couple of degrees warmer. In the meantime I dream about the beach.
